PROCESSING & FABRICATION

Our processing and fabrication capabilities include CNC structural steel processing, certified welding, plasma and oxyfuel cutting, and a full range of welding processes including FCAW, GMAW, SAW, and robotic welding. This allows us to deliver consistent precision, structural integrity, and repeatable quality across all project types and material sizes.

PROCESSING & FABRICATION

Our processing and fabrication capabilities include CNC structural steel processing, certified welding, plasma and oxyfuel cutting, and a full range of welding processes including FCAW, GMAW, SAW, and robotic welding. From raw plate and shape to a finished, welded assembly, every step happens in-house — which keeps tolerances tight and schedules predictable.

In-house CNC equipment — including the Voortman V807 and V550, Prodevco PCR42, Peddinghaus FPDB 2500 and more, allows us to process high volumes of flat and standard steel shapes with speed and accuracy. That equipment feeds directly into our welding operations, where certified processes including robotic welding hold consistent quality from the first assembly to the last.

With over 35 certified welders working across day and swing shifts, and a range of bridge, overhead, and jib cranes with lifting capacities up to 20 tons, we're equipped to move, cut, and weld material efficiently at every stage of production. That's backed by a material handling fleet of more than 45 forklifts — standard, high-capacity, and multidirectional units — so heavy or oversized components move through the shop without bottlenecks. This combination of skilled trades, lifting capacity, and modern equipment lets us deliver consistent precision, structural integrity, and repeatable quality across all project types and material sizes.

CNC Flat & Shape Processing

CNC equipment — including the Voortman V807 and V550, the Prodevco PCR42, and in-house plasma and oxyfuel cutting — processes flat plate and structural shapes with tight, repeatable tolerances. This gives us the flexibility to match the cutting method to the material and the job, from precision detail cuts and short custom runs to heavy structural plate and high-volume production.

SAW Flux-Core Arc, GMAW, and Robotic Welding

Our certified welders run FCAW, GMAW, and SAW processes depending on the joint, material thickness, and specification, ensuring the right weld process is used for the right application every time. Robotic welding adds speed and repeatability to high-volume runs, holding consistent weld quality across large quantities of identical parts without sacrificing the precision our certified welders are known for.

PAINTING & ASSEMBLY

Our painting and assembly operations combine thorough surface preparation with high-performance coatings to deliver durable, high-quality finishes. Capabilities include abrasive blasting, wheelabrating and shot blasting, and industrial paint systems, backed by an AISC Sophisticated Paint Endorsement — a certification that reflects the level of process control and quality documentation behind every coated part that leaves our facility.

With 50,000 sq. ft. of dedicated assembly space, our team performs shop assembly and testing prior to shipment, catching fit and quality issues before material ever leaves our facility. From steel shot and grit blasting to sandblasting and final coating, every step is handled in-house — so what arrives on site is ready to install, not still waiting on finishing work.

Wheelabrating, Abrasive, & Shot Blasting

CNC equipment — including the Voortman V807 and V550, the Prodevco PCR42, and in-house plasma and oxyfuel cutting — processes flat plate and structural shapes with tight, repeatable tolerances. This gives us the flexibility to match the cutting method to the material and the job, from precision detail cuts and short custom runs to heavy structural plate and high-volume production.

Shop Assembly & Testing

Pre-shipment shop assembly and testing lets us verify fit, function, and quality while the project is still in our hands — reducing surprises and rework once material reaches the job site.

DETAILING & 3D SCANNING

Our in-house detailing team uses Tekla Structures to produce accurate shop and erection drawings, translating engineering designs into fabrication-ready detail. Paired with software including Tekla PowerFab, SolidWorks, and AutoCAD, this gives us precise modeling and seamless coordination between detailing and production, keeping projects moving smoothly from model to metal.

In the field, three Trimble 3D scanners allow us to capture precise as-built conditions and verify existing structures before fabrication begins. That digital thread — from laser-scanned field data, to 3D model, to shop drawing — reduces rework and keeps every project accurate from design through installation.

Tekla Structures Detailing

Our detailers build accurate 3D models in Tekla Structures, catching clashes and coordination issues digitally before steel ever hits the shop floor.

Trimble 3D Scanning & As-Built Verification

Our three Trimble laser scanners capture precise field conditions, giving us reliable existing-condition data for retrofit, renovation, and complex tie-in projects.

As-built verification compares fabricated or installed work against the scanned or modeled data, confirming accuracy before a project is considered complete.
